When you hear the word elevate, do you think expensive and time-consuming upgrades that take time, effort, and unnecessary funds to complete? We believe you can elevate your home with a few easy and quick additions or swaps that will transform your space… and are perfect as we head into spring!

 

Follow along with this weekly blog series for tips and tricks to get creative and add style. This week is dedicated to adding style with texture. If you love a neutral color palate like us but find that this can often lead to a boring and uninspiring space, then texture is your new best friend. Here are some ways to up your style through textures

Waffle knit throws

Consider adding a waffle throw blanket to the end of your bed or drape it over the cozy chair in your master. Waffle throws are a great way to add a cozy feel to your space and the texture adds interest without having to sacrifice your minimalist color scheme.

Faux Fur Pillows

Add a few comfy fur throw pillows to the head of your bed for more texture. You can get these pillows in a variety of colors, both neutral and bold! A great addition that are popping up often in HomeGoods, Target, and other affordable home décor shops.

Rattan Details

Rattan décor is a 2021 style trend you can expect to see more of. You may think this weaved pattern is reserved for baskets, but these days rattan is gaining popularity in a variety of details. Try incorporating a rattan basket for your laundry or to display throw blankets in your living space. Take it one step further with a rattan picture frame or a rattan serving platter to display on your bar cart.
